I was really lucky to be asked to do one of Simply Crochet's Hook to Hook Challenges back in October - and the magazine is finally out!
They give two crochet designers a project to make - in this case a bag to attach a camera style strap to. The yarn they sent, whilst not recycled, was Scheepjes Cahlista - very soft and some lovely bright colours to contrast with the black.
The inspiration for my pattern was Mary Quant - sadly she passed away last year, so I thought I would do an homage to her and her famous daisy.
