Have you been admiring the granny square trend and wishing you could make the ultimate crochet building block? Granny squares can be joined together to make blankets, cushions, bags, clothing and more!
Taking place over 4 sessions at the fabulous Westbury Arts Centre (Milton Keynes), the course dates are:
Session 1: Monday 14th October 2024: 7:00 - 9:30 pm
Session 2: Monday 11th November 2024: 7:00 - 9:30 pm
Session 3: Monday 25th November 2024: 7:00 - 9:30 pm
Session 4: Tuesday 3rd December 2024: 7:00 - 9:30 pm
Each session you will learn a new granny square technique, and along with the balls of recycled cotton included, you will be able to realise your own granny square dreams!
You will start with the traditional, classic granny square and the subsequent sessions will build on that foundation knowledge, introducing new stitches and techniques along the way. You will also learn techniques to join them together!
Basic crochet experience is a requirement - if you need to brush up your skills or you're starting crochet as a newbie, please check out my Beginners Level 0 Workshops.
ALL materials will be supplied, including recycled cotton yarn, size 4mm crochet hook , recycled cotton project bag and corresponding granny square crochet patterns.
The maximum workshop size will be 8 - 10, to ensure sufficient individual guidance during the session.
Please do bring a snack along with you - crochet is hungry work!
